- All three models of the 2000 Montana are equipped with a 3.4-liter V6 engine and 185 horsepower. The Montana's engine gets 210 foot-lbs. of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine displacement is 3,350 cc. The Four Door Special Value model tows up to 2,000 pounds, while other models tow up to 3,500 pounds.
- The SE1 coupe and SE2 coupe each have a 3.4-liter V6 engine with 170 horsepower. This engine creates 200 foot-lbs. of torque at 4,000 rpm. The GT coupe and GT1 coupe have a 3.4-liter V6 engine with 175 horsepower. This engine generates slightly more torque at 205 foot-lbs. at 4,000 rpm.
