How to Setup the Wireless Adaptor for XBox 360

    • 1). Attach the Xbox 360 wireless adapter to the back of the console; this can be done by snapping the two tabs on the body of the adapter into the two slots on the back of the console just above the A/V output, USB and Ethernet port.

    • 2). Flip up the antennae on the adapter to allow for optimal communication between it and the wireless router, and plug the adapter into the USB slot on the back of the console, which should be just below the attached adapter.

    • 3). Power on your Xbox 360 and insert the software CD that came with the wireless adapter. This will install the driver for the adapter. Once it's finished, remove the software disc proceed to Step 4.

    • 4). Go to "My Xbox" on your Xbox 360 dashboard and then select "System Settings," followed by "Network Settings."

    • 5). Select the "Basic Settings" tab; then select "Wireless Mode," followed by "Scan for Networks." This will search for your wireless network, which should already be established.

    • 6). Select the name of the wireless network you wish to access and enter the network password or key if prompted. Once finished, press the "B" button to test the connection. If successful, you'll be connected to the Internet and to Xbox Live.
