Buy Books From a Vending Machine

• 1). Look at the books on display inside the vending machine and decide which one you want.
  
  
• 2). Identify which button corresponds to the book you're interested in buying, and press it.
  
  
• 3). You will be prompted to make a payment using cash or a credit card. If using cash, insert bills or coins into the payment slot. If using a credit card, insert it or swipe it in the card reader of the machine. If you are using a book vending machine outside a public library, you may be prompted to insert or swipe your library card to borrow the item instead of making a payment.
  
  
• 4). The book should drop into a receptacle, which you can reach into and pick it up.
  
  
• 5). If a receipt is printed, take it from the machine, along with any change you might be owed.
