Set BIG Personal Goals.

In the past week I have read the story of three amazing individuals all of whom set out to something great in their own way. First there was George Atkinson, the British teenager who at the age of 16 became the youngest person to climb the highest mountain on every continent, secondly there was Mark Allison aka Run Geordie Run who is currently running his way 3,100 miles across America, from California to New York, in 100 days in order to raise money for St Benedict's Hospice. Finally there was the story of 6 year old Jack Henderson who set out to raise 100 and has so far raised over 20,000 by drawing anything that people request in exchange of a donation - on his site you can see pictures of tanks, DJ'ing Jesus, company logos and all manner of weird and wonderful things. All the money Jack is raising is for the Royal Hospital for Sick Children where his younger brother attends.

The thing that stuck me about these stories is that all of these people are perfectly normal individuals who have happened to take on a challenge to do some amazing things. When you look back over your life, wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to say "I did that."?

My personal goal - my challenge, is to turn 100 into 1,000,000 just to show it can be done, that I can do it, and to that end I have co-founded 4morezeros.com Check it out - it's going to be an interesting ride.

My invitation to You, is to decide what your personal mountain is going to be, what are you going to be able to look back on as a great achievement in your life? It doesn't have to be charitable, it doesn't even ave to be public it just has to be something that you can look back on with pride.

To do this you need to find your passion, what you love to do, when are the moments in your life when your truly as happy as you can be, when you get lost in the moment and achieve the state known as flow? It is at this point that you know that you have found your calling - it could be writing, it could be painting, coaching, running or making music - whatever it is know that it is that which makes you happy.

Your task is to find the motivation and the inspiration to amplify your happiness into something truly remarkable.
