How to Use the Rival Automatic Steamer
- 1). Take off cover, steamer basket and rice bowl from the automatic steamer unit. Wipe the heating unit well with a clean towel. Wipe other parts of the steamer with a clean towel also.
- 2). Pour required water (see booklet or recipe for amount) into the inner water reservoir---make sure the heating well is covered.
- 3). Place your vegetables, or other foods that don't contain a sauce/liquid, in the steamer basket. Place rice, or other foods that do contain a sauce/liquid in the rice bowl. Note---you can't use both the steamer basket and rice bowl at the same time.
- 4). Place cover on the steamer and plug the power cable into a wall outlet.
- 5). Unplug the automatic steamer after the power light has gone out. Your food is done and the water has boiled out. Note: Wait until the unit has cooled before moving the unit to a storage place or shelf.
