Dome Light Replacement

• 1). Open up the dome light cover. With older cars just twist the cover until it releases; on newer cars you need to remove several screws.
  
  
• 2). Pull out the old bulb with your fingers and compare it to the new bulb.
  
  
• 3). Press the new bulb into the socket. Use a lint-free cloth as the oils in your hands can make the bulb burn out prematurely.
  
  
• 4). Put the light cover back on.
  
  
• 5). Turn the light on to make sure it's working.
  
  

Door Light Replacement

• 1). Remove the light cover located in the bottom left corner of the door. The cover will be held on by two screws and will require a screwdriver to remove.
  
  
• 2). Pull the cover off of the door using you hands.
  
  
• 3). Pull the old bulb from the socket with your fingers and compare it to the new bulb.
  
  
• 4). Press the new bulb into the socket. Use a lint-free cloth as the oils in your hands can make the bulb burn out prematurely.
  
  
• 5). Place the lens cover back on the door and tighten the screws with a screwdriver. Turn the light on to test it.
