How to Make Swirly Smoke on After Effects
- 1). Download and install the Particle Playground brush (see Resources) then select it from the utility menu after you have opened the video to which you wish to add the effect.
- 2). Use the tool to spray a funnel shape where there is a higher concentration of particles at the bottom of it which dissipate as the funnel becomes wider at the top.
- 3). Select "Filter" from the application menu bar and then select "Fast Blur." Adjust the amount of blur until the funnel of particles appears as smoke.
