Don"t Be Afraid to Share Your Story

Quite often the holidays not only brings happiness but for many it brings sadness.
Perhaps they lost a loved one or don't feel that they can provide for their family.
Whatever the reason, it's important to share your story.
You may think that you are whining but in reality, sharing your story will help with the healing process.
The healing process begins when you speak, write or simply let it all out.
It's not healthy to keep feelings inside whether happy or sad.
Your body will be thankful when you release.
Releasing can be in the form of laughter, tears, shouting or merely sharing your story in the form of words.
Those words as mentioned can be in the written form, but you'd be surprised how many will actually relate to your story when you are not afraid to share.
Your story has made you the person you are today and will actually help you help others.
No matter how wonderful or terrible you feel your story may be, sharing it will be a wonderful release.
Consider sharing your story with your children and family members as well.
For years, my family thought I was stuffy or stuck up and it was because I was fearful of sharing my story.
To this day many of my family members are unaware of my upbringing, since it was something that was kept hush-hush.
But for those who know my story are amazed that I can share it today without the fear of judgment.
Remember we are all human and many times some of the choices or decisions made throughout our lives, whether voluntary or involuntary will form us into the people we are today.
However, those involuntary choices don't have to linger around to hinder our lives.
Instead, share them and truly become the person you were intended to be.
Its truly not as difficult as some may believe.
If you are afraid of judgment, please put those feelings aside.
Remember there is only one judge and He is loving, forgiving and truly understanding.
We all tend to be our worse critics and the most judgmental on our own decisions and actions, so let's begin there.
Stop being so hard on yourself and instead be willing to share your story.
Again it is part of a wonderful healing process and isn't that the most important reason of all? Do it today, you'll be completely amazed at the transformation that will begin to take place.
