Fisher Price Phone Future Dream
This took place in the Fall of 2009. My kids were off from school for teachers' conferences. That afternoon we rented some movies and all sat down to watch them in the family room. It was a Friday and my day off.
I was extremely tired and dozed off almost the instant the movie started. I envisioned walking into my kitchen and seeing a green dish towel on the floor. I bent down and started to pick it up, and I saw a deceased dog's legs sticking out and let go of the towel.
It instantly jolted me awake.
What a disturbing thing to see. I looked around and the kids were glued to the TV. I was relieved it was just a dream. Within five minutes I nodded off again.
This time I was in a small apartment with a strange guy whom I have never seen before. I guess I was there to help him move. There were cardboard boxes all over the apartment floor. I heard a phone start to ring and I looked down in one of the boxes and saw a Fisher Price Phone. I started to pick up the receiver and the guy yelled, "Don't answer it!"
Too late. I said, "Hello?"
A woman in a very flat, stern voice said, "It will start right away Monday."
"What will start Monday?" I asked.
The lady said in a condescending voice, "I said it will start Monday."
Frustrated, I repeated, "What starts Monday?"
I heard the woman take a deep breath. She started to say "Monday" when the phone started making a loud static noise, then it just went dead. The guy said to me after I hung up the phone, "Well, you should just go.
You need to get winter coats for the girls. It's getting cold out after all."
"My girls have coats," I said, thinking he meant my four daughters.
Next thing, I woke up and the movie was still playing, and I realized I only nodded off for just minutes again.
Now fast forward to 5 a.m. Monday morning. I woke early and decided to just get up and get moving. I rounded the corner to the kitchen... and there was a green hand towel on the floor. I started to look at it, and at that moment my Chihuahua came running around the corner frantic! She looked at me and darted back down the hall. I went after her, she was due anytime to have a liter of puppies.
Sure enough, in her dog bed was one stillborn puppy. The poor puppy's legs were stretched out just like I saw in the dream. That evening a woman called in reference to an ad I placed online to find a home two Tea Cup Chihuahuas that were sisters and identical. The family always referred to them as "the twins".
We made arrangements for her to pick up the dogs later in the week, since she would be traveling a great distance. She lived in the far tip of Northern Wisconsin and would be coming to my home in Milwaukee. The evening she arrived, I saw her pull in the drive. I opened my front door and put the porch light on. I walked out to greet her.
She jumped out of her car very excited and said, "Where are my girls?" She held up these adorable dog winter jackets and said, "I even got them nice jackets. It's getting cold out after all."
I just froze. Then as she introduced herself and I recognized the voice. It was the same voice I heard on the Fisher Price phone in the dream. This truly proved to me that some dreams are much more then random thoughts and can give hints to the future.
