Finding Your Favorite Characters at Epcot When Visiting Disney World

If you love meeting and greeting Disney characters, you might be surprised that there are opportunities to do just that at the Epcot theme park at Disney World.
Hide and Seek While some characters are super easy to find and often right in front of your nose, others might involve a little more work.
Some characters make regular appearances, while some, such as Mushu, the dragon from Mulan, are very rarely seen at all.
If you are lucky enough to find him, he'll be at Character Connections in Innoventions West.
Where Did You Come From? Characters can often be found within their "home countries" at Epcot.
Mary Poppins, Pooh, Tigger and Alice can be found in the United Kingdom.
Aladdin and Jasmine can be found in Morocco.
Everyone's favorite marionette, Pinocchio, can be found in Italy.
If you head over to France, you're likely to meet Belle and the Beast.
If you head to Germany, you can find Snow White and Dopey.
Mulan often greets guests entering China.
At the International Gateway, you can sometimes be greeted by an entire group of characters, but only during the day.
It all depends on your luck, as there is not a published schedule.
However, if finding a particular character is important to you, check with a Disney Cast Member - they can call the internal Character Hotline and provide some direction.
Character Meals It's definitely important to get an advanced dining reservation to attend a character meal, as they can fill up quite quickly.
Princess Storybook Meals, located in Norway at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, will usually include Ariel, Jasmine, Belle, Snow White, Aurora and Mary Poppins.
If you head over to the Garden Grill, you'll see Chip n' Dale, as well as Mickey Mouse and Pluto in their best farm attire.
Les Chefs de France is home to everyone's favorite rat, Remy, from Ratatouille.
Don't worry, he doesn't hang out in the kitchen where they prepare your food.
Other Places With Character Over at Mission Space, it's not unusual to find Chip, Dale, Goofy and Mickey dressed in spacesuits.
For a uniquely interactive experience, you should definitely check out Turtle Talk with Crush from Finding Nemo.
If you head over to The Living Seas, you'll find him answering questions for little dudes and dudettes who are curious about his life in the ocean.
He sometimes has special guests, such as Dory, who will join in the fun.
He doesn't poke fun at the little ones, but on occasion, he'll poke fun at an adult in the audience.
Recently a man who is rather short on hair, but has a goatee caught the notice of Crush who commented on the "kelp" growing on his chin, but not on his head.
Luckily, the man was a good sport.
It was a really great time and a fun memory to share.
While most people don't think about characters when they think about Epcot, you can find many opportunities to interact with characters while in this park.
