- 1). Remove the weeds from your garden and flower beds. They can serve as a host for stink bugs, as well as other pests. Remove the entire root from the soil, or they will simply grow back.
- 2). Seek out any holes or frayed openings in the screens around your windows and doors and patch them. Stink bugs need only the smallest of openings to get into your home.
- 3). Remove any stink bugs that have made it into your home with the vacuum cleaner. Be sure to dispose of the bag afterward in order to avoid a persistent odor.
- 4). If the presence of the stink bugs persists after weeding and sealing the openings to your home, call a licensed pest-control operator.
