21 Things You Should Know Before You Begin Building a Chicken Coop

If you are anything like me you just might jump in and start building a chicken coop and not do very much researching on what chicken raising is all about.
I fully understand this line of thinking, but when it comes to chickens and raising them you may want to take some time to learn a little bit about them before you jump in feet first if you are a newbie.
Chickens actually are the easiest pet to take care of require very little care and supervision, however, there are some interesting things that will probably make the whole process a little easier for you if you understood.
For instance do you know how long it takes a hen to lay an egg, and how long it takes for a chicken to develop inside of an egg? Do you know what circumstances are needed for a chicken to hatch?
