They find a bloodstained article of clothing from the Ambassador Motel (the same motel where Paul's murder--or nonmurder--happened). Kathryn tells an officer to take it to the lab and have it tested with the blood samples they collected from the scene. Meanwhile, an unknown man washes dirt from his body and reaches for a cell phone nearby.
Joey thanks Dorian for taking such good care of Viki. He notices she and Viki seem closer. Dorian says despite their past misunderstandings, they realize there's a connection between them that's stronger than if they were family. Nat's phone rings. The scene switches to Paul who wears dogtags around his neck and stands in a towel. "Natalie. It's Paul. I need to see you."
Kevin doesn't believe Todd's story, but Kelly says that she was so upset when Kevin slept with Blair that she slept with Todd during a moment of weakness. Kevin asks Todd if he killed Paul, but Todd says he only punched Paul and made him bleed. He says afterward, he paid Paul and assumed that he left town. Kevin asks Kelly why she didn't call the police, but she says she didn't want Kevin to find out what she did with Todd. Kevin doesn't believe their story. He thinks there's more to it, and he plans on finding out what it is.
Natalie tells Paul that the police think he's dead, and they think she killed him. He tells her to meet him at the Hook Up in an hour.
As Joey and Clint wait with Viki, her heartbeat suddenly races. Dorian flies from the room and yells for doctors immediately.
