Chapman Freeborn provides one-stop-shop for global flight support as its subsidiary - Wings 24 - exp

As a four year consecutive winner of the Air Cargo Charter Broker of the Year award from 2007 to 2010, Chapman Freeborn continues to set the benchmark in global flight support.

Wings 24 Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chapman Freeborn; one of its core services is round the clock expertise on ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance) and last-minute sub-charter operations worldwide.

Recently Wings 24 has announced its expansion into the aviation fuel sales market.

"We're delighted to launch this new service. The aim of Wings 24 is to provide a one-stop shop for global flight support and the fuel sales division will further strengthen the product", says Darren Banham, Commercial Director of Wings 24 Ltd, adding that Wings 24 has signed agreements to purchase fuel in bulk directly from major international suppliers.

Chapman Freeborn arranges over 6000 aircraft charters a year and this service will allow cargo airlines to tap into Wings 24's volume buying power and benefit from highly competitive fuel price. While recent fuel price has slashed airlines' operating profits, Wings 24 can help cargo airlines to re-fuel from locations across Europe, the Middle East and Asia conveniently and cost-effectively.

"Playing both the downstream and upstream role in the value chain has allowed Chapman Freeborn to better understand the needs of the air cargo industry", says Mark Middleton, Chapman Freeborn Singapore Director. "Air cargo operators provide us aircrafts for our business and we support their businesses when they have emergencies on the ground, especially at remote locations and when they do not have the resources to be self sufficient. Now that we have expanded our business into the aviation sales market, we are working to provide an excellent and all-encompassing flight support for our aviation colleagues" added Mr. Middleton.

Equipped with a strong network of contacts at overseas embassies, local Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs) and other related agencies, Wings 24 also submits, tracks and obtains both civilian and diplomatic permits for overflights and landings at airports around the world. The company has a wealth of experience in the preparation of application requirements needed to meet the criteria of most countries and different types of flights.
