How to Get Silly Putty Out of Childrens' Clothes
- 1). Stretch the area of the clothing tight over a flat surface. Remove as much of the silly putty as possible using your fingers.
- 2). Soak a cotton swab or cotton ball with rubbing alcohol. Rub the silly putty with the alcohol until it is moist. Let is set for a couple of minutes then apply more rubbing alcohol.
- 3). Use the dull side of butter knife to scrape away the silly putty. Continue to moisten the silly putty with the rubbing alcohol as needed.
- 4). After removing the silly putty from the clothing, launder the clothing as normal.
