Sweets That Are Too Good to Resist

To say that everybody loves sweets is stereotypical-not to mention presumptuous. There are many others (read: people whose only purpose in life is to stay skinny) who will not dare take even a single bite off a chocolate bar. But to the majority of us sweets are just irresistible. Even when on a strict diet, we can never say no to a grade-A chocolate offered freely. Sure, we will hate the friend who gave us those chocolates when we gain 20 pounds at the end of the week. Honesty, there is nothing to be guilty about enjoying life's sweetest pleasures. Just be sure to practice a healthy dental lifestyle and visit your dental clinic every six months. Damaging your teeth because of tasty treats is a cruel outcome, don't you think?

But we can never hate chocolates. Of course, I am speaking on behalf of chocolate/candy-loving section of the population. And because we love sweets so much, I believe you will agree with me when I say that the following candies are included in the top 5 of every candy addict's list-and also because in my quick online research, they are featured in actual lists from publications and blogs.

M&M's

"Melts in your mouth, not in your hands." Anyone who can't associate this slogan with M&M's has certainly been living under a rock. This colorful pack of happiness is perfect for any activity. On ordinary days, when you just lie on your couch watching the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory on TV, a pack of M&M's is a favorite treat. Kids especially love them- after school snack, birthday party treat, something to nibble in case of the munchies. The list goes on.

I personally made a little experiment when I was a kid. I tested the accuracy of its famous slogan by scooping a bunch of M&M's candies and letting them stay inside my palms for as long as I could bear. It only took a few seconds for me to snatch one candy at a time. My sweet tooth got the best of my curiosity, and I did not even last a minute with my so-called experiment.

Snickers

As long as I remember, Snickers always has catchy commercials. I mean, yea, the mascots of M&M's are funny and cute. But Snickers has more creative ideas, ranging from hip-hop dancing to sports. It catchiest commercials are accompanied by equally catchy slogans. I believe you are familiar with "Hungry? Grab Snickers" and "You're not you when you're hungry." However, marketing aside, this sinful chocolate bar really is a lifesaver when I am starving. All I need is just one bite, and I can function again.

Reese's

Reese's has always been famous for its pure peanut butter and chocolate goodness. Whenever I get a pack of Reese's peanut butter cups, I always tell myself, "Just one... for now." Unfortunately, that personal restriction is always unsuccessful. I always end up one Reese's chocolate after the other. The fact that it is a product of the Hershey Company only adds to its appeal. At this rate, all I need are a few Hershey's bars and kisses, and I am off to chocolate paradise.
