  • As a cook, you should have a clear idea about your utensils as not all cutleries are meant for diverse purposes. You cannot think of using a chef knife or a butcher's knife to cut spices and vegetables. In modern cutlery sets, equipments are designed for a unique and specific purpose in order to make it time saving and easy to handle. When decorating your kitchen, it is therefore highly needed that you take minute care about placing your cookware and other things so that they can be within easy reach in need. Stainless Steel Cookware, Kitchen Knife Set, Chef knife etcshould be kept handy yet at proper distance so that there is no fear of sudden mishaps and unwanted accidents when cooking.
  • To make continuous chopping noise when using any knife, be it a chef knife or knife block set, is a very common habit among regular cooks. But if you want to abide by the etiquettes of cookery observed by a professional chef, then it's important that you ensure that there's no constant noise when chopping vegetables. For a common person, it's quite understandable that using a knife without making sound will call for some practice but with time you can be assured of rewarding results.
  • Another cutlery etiquette that you should be knowledgeable about is the right placement of fork and spoon by the side of the plate.  When placing the plates for dinner or lunch, make sure to keep the fork at the left hand side while the right side is for the spoon.
  • Last but not the least; you should be also alert of an after-food etiquette that is widely used by people.  When you are done with your food, keep the spoon and fork down together on the plate in an angle of 6 O'clock which is considered as an indication for the hostess.
