How to Freeze Barbecued Pork

    • 1). Place your pulled pork into an airtight container. Label the meat with the date it was prepared, not the date that you are freezing it. Store in the freezer for up to six months.

    • 2). Purchase zip-top bags made specifically for the freezer. Place your leftover meat into the bag. Roll the bag around the meat to remove any air. Seal, label and freeze the pork.

    • 3). Cut a portion from the roll of FoodSaver bags proportionate to the amount of meat you wish to freeze. Using your FoodSaver, seal one end of the roll, creating a bag. Place the pork in the bag. Put the open end into the FoodSaver and close. Press the button to remove the air and seal the bag. Label and freeze for up to one year.
