  Bali is a tropical island with long, white beaches, rain forests, and a delicious food. The Balinese has preserved the original Hindu culture of Indonesia and turned it into something unique. There are plenty of luxury hotels, luxury spas, and golf courses. But there are also plenty of things to do for kids. The beaches and the tropical climate make it easy to do things. • The Bali Dynasty Resort in South Kuta, known for its beaches, has two kids clubs: One for younger kids, and one for 13 to 19-years old. The hotel has three pools, one of which -- the one with the 180-feet water slide -- is dedicated for kids. There is a dedicated play area with an air conditioned clubhouse on the "enchanted forest" theme, with dedicated staff to care for the children. Special programs of the clubhouse introduce traditional Balinese culture and crafts. The restaurants of the hotel also have special kids menus.

Ayodya Resort Bali

• Ayodya Resort is located in Nusa Dua, has a special playground and playhouse for children. A Guest Activities Coordinator is at hand to help with activities suggestions. Near the kids playground, there is a 9-hole mini golf course. The hotel has a kids menu at the playground which contains such all-time favorites as fish and chips, noodles in tomato sauce, and peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

Elephant Safari Park Lodge

• The Elephant Safari Park Lodge is a 25 room safari lodge set in the middle of the Elephant Safari Park. The park is a sanctuary for Indonesian elephants. The hotel offers to deliver guests to their room on elephant back. Guests get free tickets to all safari rides, and have special access both to the baby elephant nursing area and the elephant bathing.
