How to Use Dettol
- 1). Wipe down surfaces with a clean rag dipped in a solution of one part Dettol to five parts warm or hot water to clean and disinfect. Rinse the rag well in clear water and wipe or rinse away any cleanser residue.
- 2). Wipe down counters, bathroom fixtures and surfaces with the pre-moistened Dettol wipes or spray the areas with one of the Dettol surface cleansers and wipe clean with a sponge or paper toweling.
- 3). Wash clothes and bedding in Dettol laundry detergent or a dilution of Dettol original according to the directions on the bottle.
- 4). Spray Dettol air fresheners into the air or disinfectant sprays onto surfaces to neutralize airborne odors or to kill bacteria on surfaces such as doorknobs, toilet handles and light switches.
