Happiness Has Four Legs!
We like to have family and friends over for cocktails, appetizers or dinner now and then.
I usually have a theme for the get together, whether it is the subtle selection of my dinner ware or perhaps my selection of seasonal food.
But when I came across products that reflected my love for my pets in a fun, sophisticated and unique way...
I knew I had my next get together theme, not to mention new kitchen and bar-ware for me.
It was summer time and a few friends were coming over for cocktails and appetizers.
I served Wine, Martinis and Margaritas along with multiple cheeses and cracker selections.
I served everything using the Pet Party Wine Accessory Collection.
I greeted my friends in my 'Taste of Purrfection' Embroidered Apron with Chenille Pockets and Trim.
My friends laughed and instantly commented on my theme.
I had Wine Glasses with Doggy & Kitty Charms, Martini/Margarita Glasses and Paw Felt Coasters.
The appetizers were served on a Wine Bottle Tempered Glass Cheese Server and everything reflected the same fun, whimsical yet sophisticated Pet Party Theme.
The Pet Party Theme got us all talking about our furry family members, present and past.
We had a great time talking about our pets and I even discovered a few things about people I thought I really knew.
They felt the same way I did regarding my pets...
no wonder we are all friends.
Many topics of conversations are about our work or children (the two-legged kind) which is all fine but when you talk about your four-legged children...
there are lots of funny stories, laughter, reminiscing and bonding that only pets can do.
Some of our cats even decided to hang out with us...
which was a first since they were feral cats and usually run when strangers come over.
I like to think they sensed they were among Cat and Dog lovers and they knew we were talking about them.
At the end of the evening, I gave each guest a Ceramic Wine Bottle Stopper that would remind them of the wonderful time we had.
The Stopper said; 'Paw Stomping Good Wine' with a large Paw in the middle.
Now, I always give a bottle of wine with one of these Wine Bottle Stoppers when I am invited to someones home for dinner.
