Fun Halloween Dress Up Games

    Costume Contest

    • Every Halloween party has a prize for best costume. Allow your guests to cast their vote for their favorite character of the evening. Create a ballot with different categories including best group costume, best couple costume, best commitment to the costume and best overall costume. Hand the ballot out to guests in the middle of the party. Tabulate the votes, announce the winners with a grandiose flair and hand out prizes.

    Costume Relay

    • Find a cheap, classic Halloween costume (with a lot of different pieces). Purchase two to four of these costumes, depending on the number of people attending your party. At the party, set the costumes up on hangers. Divide partygoers into relay teams. There should be one purchased costume for each team of three to six partygoers.

Split the teams in two halves. Divide the teams across the room. Team members will run from one half of their group to the other. Upon beginning the game, one team member from each team dons the purchased costume. They then run to their teammates across the room and take off the costume as fast as they can. Another member of their team puts the costume on, then continues the relay by running back across the room.

Go back and forth like this until each member of one of the teams has worn the costume. The first team to finish wins!

    Costume Scavenger Hunt

    • This game is for a party on the go. Divide guests into teams. Give each team a digital camera and a list of common Halloween costumes. As your party jumps from bar to bar or crawls the streets of your neighborhood, each team should snap a shot of the various required costumes. The first team to find all the listed costumes and return to "home base" wins the game.

    Mummy Wrap

    • Divide partygoers into teams. For this game, you'll need a lot of toilet paper. Play some spooky music. When the music starts, each team should start wrapping one team member in paper, imitating a mummy. The team to finish first or to have wrapped the most by the end of the song wins.
