Visualization - The Running Movie in Your Head and You"re the Lead

Visualization involves vividly experiencing something like a scene or event as vividly as you can - as if you were living or reliving an experience and you are in your own movie.
It's "seeing" the place where you can imagine your dreams and desires as if they were real.
You do this by seeing in your mind's eye a vivid full color, moving picture of what you strongly desire -an action step made real in your mind.
Try to see all the shapes and colors, take in the smells, sounds and most importantly, experience your own emotions at what you are seeing.
Think of that scene in the movie and you are the lead.
Trust me, following this exercise of positive visualization will be manifestation at its simplest form of you working towards your personal health contract.
Here's a simple writing and visualization exercise for you.
List what you feel are your "bad" habits and write a script and an affirmation in the present tense addressing these issues.
Then in a relaxed physical and mental state, preferably during a quiet moment, with your eyes closed feel, touch and experience one of these habits in a new, useful and positive way.
Let yourself feel the emotions.
Then open your eyes and act as if the change has already occurred.
For now, you don't have to do it, just believe it, believe in the changed experience in your doing.
Try to do this for the next 30-days and observe your mood and self-language.
Notice that you can finally change patterns that send destructive things your way such as negative emotions into positive acts and results.
And finally, don't forget to smile and feel proud about the new you, in taking those first steps.
Once you have tackled your first writing visualization exercise, you need to take it to the next level.
What am I trying to say? For example, let's say you want to run a marathon.
You can put your feet up on the coffee table lean back and day dream the of crowds by the finish line as you cross it with a smile.
That's not the visualization that I am talking about - cheering crowds among thousands of runner.
What I am advocating is trying to speak to yourself to be disciplined, to be driven and to persevere.
So what's the difference? Simply put, day dreaming is only a substitute for work but visualization is labor.
It's a tool that you will use to get the job done.
If you want to learn and progress positively in any areas of your life, you envision the path to get to that successful outcome.
It's like your a wood chopper with the ax as your mind visualization tool and you must continually sharpen the mental "ax" to effectively direct you to your purpose.
It's worth at least 15 minutes to an hour a day if you're serious about making and keeping these changes and celebrating life to the maximum and it not just in weight loss but apply it to any area of your life.
I strongly believe this is MANDATORY!
