The Suzuki LTA50 Quadmaster/QuadSport is a four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle produced between 2000 and 2005 and marketed as an entry-level ATV for young riders. The LTA50 employs a 49 cubic-centimeter engine and a number of features designed to maximize safety for inexperienced riders. The design of the vehicle attempts to provide a compromise between performance and ease of use. - The LTA50 features a 49 cc, two-stroke engine with a single cylinder and air cooling. It has a bore of 41 mm and a stroke of 37.8 mm. Its compression ratio is 5.6-to-1. Fuel delivery is via a Mikuni VM12SC carburetor, and the engine is started by an electric ignition system. The single-speed transmission has an automatic clutch.
- The vehicle's front suspension uses independent swing axles and oil-damped coil springs. The rear suspension is via a swingarm and coil springs. Both front and rear suspensions allow 2 inches of travel. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes on both front and rear. The vehicle's wheels are mounted with all-terrain tubeless AT16x8-7 tires.
