2003 350Z Specs

    • Nissan's 350Z entered production with the 2003 model, which came in trim levels base, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring and Track. All trim levels come with standard equipment such as high-intensity discharge headlights, alloy wheels, front and rear window wipers, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, in-dash CD player and a trip computer.

    Engine and Transmission

    • Nissan offered one engine with the 2003 350Z, a 3.5-liter V6 block that has dual overhead camshafts that work with 24 engine valves. The engine had a displacement of 3,498 cc, a 3.76-inch bore, a 3.2-inch stroke and a compression ratio of 10.3 to 1. Maximum output from the 350Z's engine measures 287 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 274 foot-pounds of torque at 4,800 rpm. The 2003 350Z also comes with either a six-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission, both of which have overdrive.

    Exterior

    • Curb weight for the 350Z varies by trim level and the type of transmission installed, with a range from as little as 3,188 lb. up to as much as 3,247 lb. Body dimensions are the same for all of the 350Z's trim levels, with a height of 51.9 inches, an overall length of 169.4 inches and a width of 71.5 inches. In addition, the 350Z has a wheelbase that extends for 104.3 inches, a front track width of 60.4 inches and a rear track width of 60.8 inches.

    Occupant and Cargo Space

    • The entire occupant space in the 2003 Nissan 350Z has a volume of 50.5 cubic feet. Two occupants can fit in the 350Z at a time. Headroom over the seats totals 38.2 inches and legroom in front of the seats measures 42.6 inches. The back cushions of the seats offer 53.6 inches worth of shoulder room. The 350Z's cargo volume measures 6.8 cubic feet.

    Safety

    • Nissan gives the 350Z several safety innovations. To protect the car and its occupants, the 2003 350Z comes with power door locks, remote entry and an anti-theft system. The 350Z also comes with technology to help avoid accidents, such as ABS brakes, electronic brake assist, a limited slip differential, traction control and stability control. In the event of a collision, the 350Z protects the occupants from harm using dual front airbags.
