How to Abort a SharePoint PowerShell Backup
- 1). Click the PowerShell icon in the tray on the bottom of your computer screen to bring it up. The window will show the backup’s progress.
- 2). Type “SPBackupRestoreConsole.Abort” (no quotes) in the window at the bottom.
- 3). Hit Enter. This runs the abort command and stops the backup.
