How to Change the Address on an EBT Account
- 1). Call your caseworker. If you have a direct line to your caseworker, tell her your new address. The address change will be reflected on your EBT account as soon as she files the necessary paperwork.
- 2). Contact your local SNAP office, if you cannot reach your caseworker directly. Visit the SNAP office locator website (see Resources) to find your local office.
- 3). Call EBT customer service at 1-866-281-2448. Enter the information the automated operator asks you to provide. You will then be connected to a live customer service representative. Ask the representative if the address change went through. If the change does not go through within one to two days, contact your caseworker or the local SNAP office again.
