- 1). Slice some potatoes into thin pieces. You can use red, russet, or Yukon gold potatoes.
- 2). Rinse off the potato slices to remove any excess starch. This will reduce the overall number of calories and make these potato chips healthier.
- 3). Lay out the potato slices on a baking pan or even a pizza stone. No spacing is needed between the potato slices.
- 4). Sprinkle or paint olive oil on the potato chips. Olive oil is full of omega 3 fatty acids which improves brain function, decreases the risk for heart disease, and can act as an anti-inflammatory. This is very healthy oil and will give some crunch to your chips.
- 5). Season your healthy potato chips with a little bit of salt or other seasoning.
- 6). Bake the potato chips for 30 minutes or until darkened around the edges at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 7). Enjoy your crunchy, yummy, yet healthy potato chips.
