How to Lower High Blood Pressure and Cholesterol

First, I will begin with high blood pressure.
Having high blood pressure means the pressure of your blood on the inside of your arteries and veins is to high.
This can lead to aneurysms, and even hemorrhages, which are almost always deadly, depending on their location.
High blood pressure can be caused by many things, including poor overall health, being overweight or obese, stress, genetics, and even to much of a stimulant such as caffeine.
Luckily, many of these causes can be fought! The trick is learning how to do it.
Step one, stop salting your food! Salting your foods is bad, especially since most foods are already high in sodium to begin with.
Luckily, there are good alternatives, such as using a salt substitute or sea salt.
Another option is cutting salt totally and going for something like hot sauce, which does have some salt in it, but not as much as you would normally use.
Step two, relieve your stress! Set time for yourself to relax.
Maybe take a walk, as this can be relaxing, and good for your health.
Which brings me to step three...
Lose weight! This is the most important and best way to lower your high blood pressure.

First, I will briefly explain what cholesterol is, and why it is bad.
Cholesterol is needed in the human body.
Its primary function is to help repair vascular tissues to avoid a burst.
However, too much cholesterol is very bad.
When cholesterol begins to build up, it blocks blood flow, which results in poor circulation.
Even worse, cholesterol can build up so much that it completely blocks an artery, this is a heart attack.
Another way cholesterol can be bad, is that it reduces the elasticity of your veins, which make them easy to burst.
To help reduce cholesterol, you need to: Stop eating deep-fried foods.

But, once again, the best way to combat high cholesterol is diet and exercise.
