When you find yourself with a disability that makes it difficult for you to work outside the home it can be quite a burden not only to your self-esteem but it can also become quite a financial burden as well.
There are some people though that have been able to rise above this by finding the kind of work that they can do from their own homes.
Even though this seems like the ideal choice, to work from home, finding that right job can be somewhat overwhelming.

They are there to help you understand your rights under the law when you are looking for a job as a disabled person.
This will help you know how to handle unjustifiable rejections by employers.
A really good website set up by the Job Accommodation Network will help those with disabilities find agencies and businesses that are willing to hire people that have certain disabilities and will let them do the required work from their own homes.
You can also contact your state Vocational Rehabilitation Center as well.
They are specifically there for those people who are disabled and are either without a job or are underemployed and need supplemental work to help them to make ends meet.
They don't actually find a person a job specifically but they can help a person in their search for available home jobs and they are sometimes even willing to pay for any special equipment or even start up costs for a disabled person to start their own home business.
Remember, even though the organizations listed above are there for your support, they can't guarantee that they will be able to find your a job.
However; with their assistance you will have a far better chance at obtaining employment.
