    Models

    • As of 2009, the Ford F650 had three cab configurations: Regular, Super, and Crew. It also had two engine options: the Cummins or the Caterpillar. It came in two trim levels, or feature packages: the XL and the XLT. The primary upgrades that came with the XLT were cloth seat-trim, a CD player, a center armrest with cup-holder, and molded door-trim panels with a map pocket.

    Features

    • The standard features of the 2009 F650 included air-conditioning, a 45-gallon fuel tank, Quadraulic four-channel anti-lock brakes, a chrome grille, a chrome-steel bumper, dual rectangular mirrors, two Motorcraft 12-volt, 625 CCA batteries, a 12-volt 130-amp alternator, Stemco wheel seals, and roof clearance lamps.

      Optional features included alternative bumper options, larger fuel tanks, alternators with more amps, air-system brakes, automatic traction control, an engine block heater, an engine exhaust brake, a floor console, a power takeoff provision, rear air suspension, choices of seat combinations, and choices of spare wheels.

    Engines

    • The Cummins engine offered 200 to 325 horsepower with 520 to 750 ft-lb of torque. The Caterpillar offered 210 to 300 hp and 520 to 860 ft-lb of torque.

      The standard transmission was an Allison 2500 five-speed automatic, but you could opt for a six-speed automatic or a five, six, or seven-speed manual.

    Dimensions

    • The gross vehicle weight rating for the Pro Loader was 22,000 to 26,000 lb and 22,000 to 29,000 lb for the basic F-650.

      The wheel-base of the F-650 ranged from 134 inches to 260 inches for the Regular Cab, 155 to 281 for the Super Cab, and 170 to 278 for the Crew Cab.
