Ron has rescued and adopted so many cats that his home has become a real sanctuary for cats.

Splash was brought home by one of my feral rescues, Tuck. When he arrived, he was emaciated and was wearing a flea collar so tight it had indented his neck and was making it hard for him to breath and eat. Splash was in pretty bad shape when he arrived, and for a while I wondered if he would survive. His liver was big and he may have had pancreatitis as well. He had a hard time keeping food down and what he did keep down ran right out of him.
Gradually his health improved, but he had real trust issues and I think he was probably yelled at and hit frequently by his previous owner.

It took over a year, but Splash now allows us to pet, brush, and hold him. He will jump up in a chair with my wife or myself. Splash is a singing cat and chortles all the time. He also loves kittens and immediately adopts any new foundling.
