How to Get the Marines to Stop Recruiting Your Child

1). Contact your local Marine Corps recruiting center. Give them your name and explain that you have a son or daughter and that your child is not interested in joining the Marines. Explain that your feelings will not change and that you will not tolerate further recruitment efforts. Tell them to take your number off their phone and mailing list. Ask to be taken off the database at Marine headquarters.
2). Contact your child's school and ask to talk to a principal or vice principal. Urge your child's school to stop allowing Marine recruiters on campus. If your school does not acquiesce, demand that your child be kept away from all Marine recruitment speeches and prospective interviews.
3). Monitor your child's Myspace or Facebook account. Marine recruiters have established an online presence and are targeting children via social networking sites. Block all Marine Corps pages and friend requests from your child's page.
