Are You Looking At Options For Shop Heaters?
Are you in the market for shop heaters? Do you want to heat your garage in these cooler winter months? Do you spend a lot of time in the garage? Do you wish you had a garage heater? Are you tired of wearing coats and hats and gloves when working in the garage, just because it is cooler out there than you would like it to be? Then you are in the market for new shop heaters.
My husband was also recently in the market for shop heaters with which it heat his shop, or garage. My husband currently uses our garage as a shop, where he works and runs his business. And let me tell you, in these cooler winter months, going out to the garage to work in his shop was drudgery for him.
Boy he wished he had a good garage heater. He would put off going out to the garage, or shop, for as long as he could, and then he would bundle up in so many layers, he could hardly move to effectively work in his shop. And then it wasn't too long before his limbs were so cold from being in the cooler air that he had to come inside and warm up before going back out to the garage to work in his shop. We knew that if we were going to make any money from his shop in the cooler winter months, we were going to have to find a garage heater solution, so we began looking for shop heaters.
My husband and I learned that there are a lot of heater options when it comes to shop heaters. From the traditional heater that used fuel such as propane or natural gas, to the electric heater, we had many options to research for our new garage heater. We thought about using a propane heater, but then we realized that we would have to come up with some sort of venting system in our garage so that my husband wouldn't be breathing in fumes while working in his shop, or garage. So this wasn't really a good garage heater, or shop heaters option for us.
We wanted a simpler option for shop heaters. Since we didn't want to mess with trying to find an affordable, as well as an efficient way to vent the garage or shop, we looked more seriously into an electric heater for our new garage heater, or shop heaters. We learned that for shop heaters, the electric heater had a lot of garage heater options that would work well for us. My husband could either heat his shop with a portable electric heater stuck on the floor and moved around the shop as needed, or he could mount an electric heater on the walls or ceiling of his shop or garage for a less portable heat option, but one that would give him more floor space in his shop. The best thing about these electric shop heaters, besides being convenient, was that they are energy efficient as well! We love our shop heaters!
