The lyrics of "Do You Hear What I Hear?" was written by French composer Noel Regney in 1962. The melody was composed by his wife, the pianist Gloria Shayne. Written during the Cuban Missile Crisis, this song was a "prayer for peace" according to Regney. Listen to the song.
