This beautiful waterfall is situated amidst lush green trees, coffee plantations, and spice estates. The waterfall is formed by several streams, which join from the mountains and flows down to merge with River Cauvery.
This waterfall is also called as Jessie waterfall named in the memory of Jessie the daughter of Madikeri's first captain. The water flow in this waterfall is high during monsoons and less during off season. A hanging bridge has been constructed across the gorge, which gives a very good view of this nature's gift. The best time to visit is early winter when the falls is filled with enormous water.
