New Orleans, Louisiana, is rich with historically French and Creole influences. The handcrafted ironwork, courtyards and gardens of the French Quarter create the perfect romantic atmosphere for any wedding or reception, and the city offers a plethora of indoor and outdoor venues for your special day. Whether you want a small gathering in a private courtyard, a large event in the city center or a non-traditional ceremony, New Orleans has just the place for you.

    Jackson Square

    • Due to its proximity to the river, churches and seat of government, Jackson Square was the hub of social and commercial life prior to the Louisiana Purchase, during French and Spanish rule. Today, the square is surrounded by wrought iron fences, gardens and fountains arranged around the central bronze statue of Andrew Jackson, hero of New Orleans. Bounded by Decatur, St. Peter, St. Ann, and Chartres Streets, it is a picturesque place to host your daytime wedding, and you can book the square through the New Orleans Department of Parks and Parkways. The event application is available on their website.
