DIY Skate Ramps

    • 1). Take your supplies to a paved area where you have permission to build the ramp. Stack two cinder blocks sideways on the ground. Stack two more cinder blocks parallel to the first stack, four feet apart.

    • 2). Lean one edge of the plywood on the cinder blocks while resting the opposite edge on the ground. Push bricks under the plywood so the ramp face will have a strong foundation.

    • 3). Place the sheet metal horizontally on the end of the plywood resting on the pavement. Tape the sheet metal to the plywood to create a safe roll up for the kick ramp. Construct another kick ramp directly in front of the first kick ramp, but facing in the opposite direction. This will allow the skater to go from one ramp to the other.

    • 4). Roll up both the kick ramps to guarantee they are sturdy. Space out the two kick ramps to create a gap in the middle for skating room.
