How to Remove Wiring From 6.0 Glowplugs

- 1). Unfasten the negative battery cable from the vehicle's battery post with an open-end wrench.
- 2). Take the intake manifold off the drivers side of the engine by moving the cables and hoses out of the way and unfastening the bolts with a socket wrench. Make a note of how the cables and hoses are attached before removing them.
- 3). Locate the glowplugs that sit under the manifold cover and use the J 39083 wire removal tool to take the glowplug wire off each of the 6.0 glowplugs.
