How to Freeze Cells in OpenOffice
- 1). Start OpenOffice Calc.
- 2). Click a column heading to freeze the cells to its left. Click a row heading to freeze the cells above it. To freeze a block of cells, click the cell on the block's bottom-right corner. For example, click cell "D8" to freeze the cells in columns A, B and C, and the cells in rows one to seven.
- 3). Click "Window" in the menu bar. Select "Freeze."
