How to Win the X Games Vert on EA Skate
- 1). Roll down into the vert ramp once the competition begins. Do not do a trick right away. Use the first ramp to give you a lot of speed.
- 2). Hold the bottom right corner down on the right analog stick when you approach the next ramp. Press the stick upward. This will cause a kickflip. Always start the trick with some sort of a flip trick by moving the right analog stick backwards and moving it forwards in different directions.
- 3). Grab the board with either L2 or R2 while in the air. You're player will grab the board. Tweak the grab by pressing the right analog stick in a direction while holding the board. You will get more points for tweaking a grab.
- 4). Land safely and continue to the other ramp. Continue to do flip tricks and grabs. Also, spin your character during the tricks by holding the left analog stick to the left or right. Continue to back and forth on the ramps while doing tricks until the timer runs out. If you successfully completed a large combo such as the one described, you will have around 15,000 points.
