How to Apply Cover Girl Crackle Lacquer
- 1). Paint your clean nails with the base color first. The Cover Girl Crackle Lacquer goes on better if the base surface is somewhat moist or about 90 percent dry. It has been noted that applying the lacquer to a completely dry base surface causes the crackle to flake off as soon as it dries.
- 2). Mix up the crackle lacquer by rolling the bottle in your hands before using. Don’t shake the bottle. Applying a thin coat of the crackle lacquer to the semi-damp base coat will cause more crackling effects on the nail. In this case, a little goes a long way.
