How Do I Find the Lost Orb in "Aveyond 5"?
- 1). Complete all the game's early quests. If you struggle with these, you'll find guides and walkthroughs on the game's website or you can purchase the official strategy guide. Once you've completed the quests in Acropolis and Underfall, you're ready to find the orb.
- 2). Bring the mirror you got from Acropolis into the Stonetooth Cave System. Travel through the cave system until you reach a door beside a lever.
- 3). Go through that door. This takes you to a room with a stone lion. You'll launch into a narrated scene involving the mirror and afterward can pass into the next room. This room is blocked with a steel door. Your characters will discuss how they might get past it.
- 4). Exit the Stonetooth Cave System, return to the nearby village of Harakauna and speak to your friend Ulf about getting acid to use on the door. He'll tell you what ingredients you need. Get blood thistle from Underfall, thindle roots from the Great Tree root system and diamonds from Fauna Cave at Acropolis if you don't already have them.
- 5). Bring the ingredients to the alchemist who lives with Ulf and he'll make you the acid.
- 6). Return to the Stonetooth Cave System with your acid. Use it on the steel door in the room just past the stone lion room.
- 7). Complete the puzzle in the next room. The puzzle's correct sequence is: yellow, green, blue, gray. This will open two doors. Go through the right door if you want to collect all the game's best weapons before your final battle.
- 8). Equip your best armor and weapons, and use the life crystal to heal any injuries. Save the game in case something goes wrong.
- 9). Enter the room through the left door. This is where you'll find the lost orb,during a narrated scene you have no control over. This is also where you'll fight the final battle against Gyendal.
