Changing the Email Alerts on the Palm Centro

• 1). Access the main menu on your Palm Centro and select the "Applications" folder, then select "Email."
  
  
• 2). Select "Options" and then select "Preferences." This will take you to a set up menu with various options for sounds and alerts.
  
  
• 3). Check the "Alert me of new mail" box and that will lead you to the "Alert Sound Pick List," a list of specific sounds available for use as alerts.
  
  
• 4). Scroll through the list of options and select the sound you wish to use. You can hear a brief demo of the sound by clicking the alert.
  
  
• 5). Click "OK" and the alert will be set on your Palm Centro. You can return to this screen anytime to change to a different alert. You can also set the Curve to vibrate if you don't want a sound alert.
