You know when you open your kitchen utility drawer,the kitchen tongs that you have in their are open and generally stop the drawer from opening and you have to squeeze your hand in their to get them unstuck,or you have to pull the drawer so hard that you bend or break the tongs that render them useless.
So we slowly bought tongs one pare after the next some had little lock mechanisms that generally stopped working after a short time.
I use to get very frustrated until I thought of this: Well sometimes when you buy a new saute or sauce pan the company will offer a insulated handle holder sauce pot fry pan mitt as a teaser to buy,or you can buy them separately for a couple of bucks.
Besides what it is intended to be used for (hot handles) you can store your kitchen tongs in them so they are closed and easily stored.
The tongs fit into the mitt perfectly.
They will be closed,clean,and easy to use.
You can clean these handle holder mitts very easily just toss them into your washing machine.
With the economy as it is when money is tight it's nice to have one product that can be used for more then one use.
I will be searching the internet looking for other kitchen items that can be used for more then one use so that you can save time and money.
Like saving the wrappers of pound butter in the freezer in a plastic bag and use them instead of buying waxed paper,sounds silly but can save you money in the long run.
