Disable All Real-Time Shields

• 1). Right-click the "Avast!" tray icon.
  
  
• 2). Select "Avast! Shield Controls."
  
  
• 3). Select an amount of time to disable the shields.
  
  

Disable a Single Real-Time Shield

• 1). Right-click the "Avast!" tray icon.
  
  
• 2). Select "Open Avast! User Interface."
  
  
• 3). Select "Real-Time Shields."
  
  
• 4). Select the real-time shield you wish to disable from the list.
  
  
• 5). Click "Stop," and select an amount of time to disable the real-time shield.
