Anatarina was a Cat of the Week in January, 2007, and subsequently voted Cat of the Month for that month.

This is my beautiful smiling Zarina Anatarina aka Tina. She is a Russian Blue who grew up in a Cattery with about 20 other cats. She didn't make the grade as a show cat, but she gave birth to several kittens who have won prizes in shows. She was retired at a year and a half because the breeder said she is small and had a hard time giving birth and she didn't want to put her through it again.
So, I was blessed to be given her at the age of 1 1/2.

She is a silky cuddly ball of fur and loves to sleep with me. She touches my face with a soft paw as soon as I open my eyes in the morning. Russians are supposed to be quiet but she likes to talk to me, meowing at me when it is time to go to bed and poking at me with her soft paw. She is very gentle, never using a claw.
