How to Separate the Salaries in Quicken

    • 1). Launch Quicken on your computer, then click the "Planning" tab.

    • 2). Click "View," then select "Tax Center."

    • 3). Click "Taxable Income YTD," then click the "Add Paycheck" button. The Paycheck Setup dialog window opens.

    • 4). Select the options in the window that correspond to your salary. For example, select the frequency that you receive your paycheck and your paycheck amount. Click "Done" when you have finished entering the relevant information.

    • 5). Click the "Planning" tab again, then click "View" and select "Tax Center." Click "Taxable Income YTD," then click the "Edit Paycheck" button. The Manage Paychecks dialog window opens. The window displays the list of salaries that you have set up in Quicken.

    • 6). Click the "New" button to open the Paycheck Setup dialog window, then select the options for your other salary. Click "Done" when you have completed entering the other salary.
