How to Make an Airsoft Gun With Household Items
- 1). Put newspaper down on a table. Unscrew the metal point off of the disposable plastic pen. Discard the metal point.
- 2). Unscrew the barrel of the disposable plastic pen to separate the two halves.
- 3). Pull the ink cartridge out of the front half of the disposable plastic pen where the point was, using the needle-nose pliers.
- 4). Remove the spring from around the ink cartridge using your fingers. Put the spring down on the newspaper. Discard the ink cartridge.
- 5). Pull the cap off of the back half of the barrel of the plastic pen with the needle-nose pliers.
- 6). Put the spring over the pointed end of the nail. Put the nail, pointed end first, into the front half of the barrel of the disposable plastic pen where the point was.
- 7). Screw the barrel of the disposable plastic pen back together.
- 8). Place a foam pellet into the hole in the back half of the barrel of the disposable plastic pen where the cap was. Take the airsoft gun you have made from household parts into your backyard.
- 9). Aim the airsoft gun at a target in the backyard that won't be damaged by being hit by a foam pellet--for example, a rock or piece of lawn furniture.

Pull the end of the nail from the front end of the plastic pen toward you. Release the nail to fire the cap gun cap and shoot the foam pellet at your target.
