Get Better Photos With Leading Lines

Have you ever felt like the viewers of your photos never focus on your subject? Many people need something to "lead" their eyes to the subject.
One way you can get better photos is with leading lines.
Leading lines are objects that will help viewers focus on the main attraction of your photos.
Common leading lines include ropes, street markings, and hands.
However they could be anything as long as they lead you to the subject.
There is only one main thing you need to know about shooting photos with leading lines: always have the leading line come from a corner.
And preferably, have it come from a bottom corner.
Otherwise, the effect that you are trying to create will not be as easy.
So how do you incorporate leading lines into your photos? All you have to do is make sure there is a line present when you shoot your subjects.
For example, if you are shooting a classroom of kids, have one of them stand at the end of the chalkboard and use the chalkboard to "lead" viewers to them.
Another example would be if you were doing a product shot for a car.
You could use the yellow road marking to get the attention of your viewer to look at the car, making the shot more dynamic and pleasing to the eye.
Always make sure that you are utilizing other digital photography compositional rules like the rule of thirds (making sure that your subject is never in the middle of the shot, and preferably in a corner) to get the best results when you take photos.
Leading lines can greatly improve even the most basic photo, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Even though this compositional technique can take some time to get used to, once you get the hang of it, you will notice how they can get you better photos.
